Hello, Grizzly Families!
I am truly honored to serve alongside you as your Principal. For the past three and a half years, I have served as an Assistant Principal at North Central High School. While I deeply valued my time there, it has always been a passion of mine to work with students during their formative elementary years.
My love for education spans elementary, middle, and high school. I previously taught special education as both a resource teacher and a self-contained teacher. I have also taught 1st, 3rd, and 5th grades before becoming an instructional coach and, later, an assistant principal. These diverse experiences have shaped my belief that every child deserves access to rigorous instruction, strong relationships, and a supportive school community.
Outside of school, you can find me at the gym, cheering on one of my children at their sporting events, cooking at home, or reading a good book. I am a proud mom of four boys—Bryson (17), Braylon (16), Bryan (14), and George (5)—and one daughter, Averi (12). My two oldest sons attend North Central High School, and George is excited to join the Grizzly family next year as a kindergartener!
I strongly believe in family engagement and partnership. I encourage you to stay connected, get involved, and never hesitate to reach out with questions or concerns. When we work together, we create the very best experiences for our students.
Let’s have a fantastic year. And remember—if you’re going to be a bear, be a Grizzly!
