Welcome to Greenbriar Elementary!
It is truly an honor to serve as the Principal of Greenbriar Elementary and to lead a school community committed to ensuring every student, every day has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.
My journey in education has given me the opportunity to serve students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Before becoming a principal, I served as an assistant principal, instructional coach, general education teacher, and special education teacher in both resource and self-contained settings. I have also taught 1st, 3rd, and 5th grades. Each of these experiences has shaped my belief that all students deserve rigorous and engaging instruction, meaningful relationships with caring adults, and a school environment where they feel safe, supported, and valued.
At Greenbriar, we believe educating children is a partnership. Families are an essential part of our Grizzly community, and I encourage you to stay connected, get involved, ask questions, and share your ideas and concerns. When schools and families work together, we create stronger experiences and better outcomes for our students.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, cheering on my children at their sporting events, working out, cooking, and reading a good book. As both an educator and a parent, I understand the trust families place in us each day when they send their children through our doors. It is a responsibility I value deeply.
I am proud of the community we continue to build at Greenbriar and look forward to all that we will accomplish together.
And remember—if you’re going to be a bear, be a Grizzly!
