Greenbriar Soccer Club 4/25th

Some of the children in the apartment complexes that we serve do not participate in organized activities outside of school.   They miss out on constructive, healthy fun and also they miss out in the skills learned in organized activities.  We call such activities “enrichment”.     This is because soccer, dance, art, kickball are examples of activities that enrich our life experiences.  We learn conflict resolution skills, respect, we learn how to accept disappointment, how to win graciously, etc.

Greenbriar is beginning to create our own soccer club. Tom Lange from St. Lukes Church and Mark Maxi from AFC are heading up this initiative. It is open to any Greenbriar student in grades 1-5.

Games will take place at Greenbriar on the north playground.

Parents are responsible for setting up the league with practices, games and offering coaching to the students. This is a great opportunity for you to join your child in a sport.

Games start this Saturday, April 25th from 10-11:30am. The cost is $27.00. You may show up this Saturday and play if you bring your money.Bring cash or money order payable to Greenbriar PTO.
