Phonebook Recycling Challenge

During the past six years, third grade teacher Kathy Robbins and her students at Greenbriar Elementary have participated in a phonebook recycling challenge called Project Redirectory. The program was part of the Indiana Recycling Coalition and had been sponsored by AT&T. Over the past six years, Greenbriar has come in 1st place five times and 2nd place once. The contest came to a halt as it was thought that enough phonebooks had been collected around the nation. Despite the odds, Mrs. Robbins and her students ended up bringing in 6.5 tons of books this year! Congratulations to Mrs. Robbins and her students for their hard work and dedication!
