Greetings, Greenbriar Grizzlies!
It is with immense honor and excitement that I introduce myself as your new Interim Principal. Last year, I had the privilege of supporting the Greenbriar community as a District Instructional Coach, and I am so grateful for this new opportunity to lead and serve our wonderful school.
My passion for education spans more than two decades. I began my career as a special education teacher, a role I held for seven years, before teaching first and fourth grade. My leadership experience includes four years as an assistant principal and another four as a principal. For 20 years, I called Austin, Texas, home, but my husband and I recently made the move back to Indiana to be closer to family.
Outside of school, my husband and I have three energetic children—Addison (8), Payton (4), and Paxson (3)—who bring so much joy to our lives. We are all thrilled to be back in Indiana and are quickly settling into the community.
My approach to education is simple: students come first. Every decision I make will be with the best interests of our students at heart. I am a strong believer in clear communication and am a dedicated cheerleader for both our students, staff and community.
Since my first day, it has been clear how much Greenbriar means to everyone here. I feel incredibly fortunate to officially join the Greenbriar family and look forward to our journey of growth and learning together.
Cheers to a great year!
